Job description
- Our client base is constantly growing and we’re looking for great software engineers to make our team better. As a Staff Software Engineer, you’ll be a technical contributor for our Aware platform. You’ll be challenged often and will find yourself working on all areas of the application domain across the full app delivery stack.
- Design and implement highly resilient, scalable, and performant solutions that solve complex healthcare problems using VueJS, NodeJS, Java, AWS and more.
- Participate in technical and product discussions with leaders across our engineering, product, and business teams.
- Self-reliance, without supervision, while showcasing best design/communication/solution practices in daily works.
- Ensure continuously improve our standard of engineering excellence
Responsibilities
- 10 + years of software development experience.
- Strong foundation in computer science principles, including algorithms, data structures, and system design building scalable web applications and backend services
- Expert understanding of software engineering best practices, such as version control, testing, and continuous integration
- NodeJS

- JavaScript/TypeScript
- At least one modern frontend framework (VueJS, React, or Angular)
- SQL and relational databases
- Automated testing (JUnit, TestNG, Jest, Vitest, or similar)
- Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, and distributed systems
- Familiarity with Shift Left and test automation
- Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
- Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership; proactively identifies opportunities, takes initiative without being asked, and follows through with persistence
Requirements
- Experience with generative AI, machine learning, and predictive algorithms
- Familiarity with statistics and healthcare domain
- Expertise with distributed event streaming platforms like Kafka
- Experience with data pipeline technologies
- * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- * 10+ years of progressive experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on building scalable, distributed systems.
