- We are seeking an experienced Strategic Account Executive to own and expand relationships with some of the world's largest banks and financial institutions. This is a highly strategic, enterprise sales role focused on developing long-term executive relationships, navigating complex stakeholder environments, and driving multi-million-dollar commercial opportunities.
- You will own a portfolio of Tier 1 financial institutions, partnering closely with senior executives to understand their strategic priorities and position Chainlink as a trusted technology partner. Success in this role requires a proven ability to win and grow complex enterprise accounts, influence C-suite stakeholders, and consistently deliver large, multi-year commercial outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow a portfolio of Tier 1 banks and financial institutions, developing long-term strategic account plans that drive meaningful commercial outcomes.
- Build trusted relationships with senior executives and key decision makers across business, technology and innovation functions.
- Identify, originate and close complex enterprise opportunities, consistently delivering multi-million dollar commercial agreements.
- Navigate sophisticated procurement, legal, compliance and commercial processes within global financial institutions.
- Develop comprehensive stakeholder maps across customer organisations, building executive sponsorship and expanding influence throughout each account.
- Partner closely with Product, Solutions Engineering, Marketing, Legal and Executive Leadership to execute successful account strategies.
- Lead commercial negotiations and coordinate internal resources to deliver exceptional customer outcomes throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Represent Chainlink as a strategic partner, helping customers understand how our technology can support their long-term business objectives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of enterprise sales, strategic account management, or business development experience selling complex technology solutions into global financial institutions.
- Demonstrated track record of owning and growing Tier 1 banking or financial services accounts.
- Proven history of originating and closing multi-million dollar enterprise deals with complex buying committees.
- Experience managing long enterprise sales cycles involving executive stakeholders, procurement, legal and technical teams.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to build credibility and influence at C-suite and senior leadership level.
- Exceptional relationship management and account planning skills, with experience expanding strategic accounts over multiple years.
- Experience operating successfully within high-growth technology companies or similarly fast-paced environments.
- Excellent commercial negotiation and deal management capabilities.
