• The Technology Communications Manager is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering clear, consistent, and strategic communication that advances the goals of the Global Technology Organization (GTO).
• Reporting to the Director of Technology, Strategy, and Communications, this role translates complex technology strategies, programs, and changes into compelling narratives that resonate with executives, employees, business stakeholders, and external partners. The Technology Communications Manager partners with Strategy, PMO, Change Management, and Technology leadership to ensure communication is aligned, timely, and supports the adoption and understanding of major technology initiatives.
• The role ensures GTO operates with a unified voice—reinforcing transparency, accountability, and a culture of partnership across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual GTO communications strategy aligned to technology priorities and transformation goals
• Define communication plans for major programs, executive announcements, and organizational changes
• Partner with Technology Strategy and Change teams to ensure narrative alignment across all channels
• Craft speeches, scripts, talking points, and leadership messaging for the CTO, SVPs, and key technology leaders
• Support preparation and communication for leadership forums, ELT updates, town halls, and board‑level materials
• Ensure communication is clear, professional, and consistent with enterprise tone and brand
• Create high‑quality content that informs, engages, and inspires GTO teams
• Develop newsletters, updates, intranet content, and storytelling assets that articulate technology value
• Highlight technology achievements, innovation, and cultural initiatives
• Lead communication strategy for technology programs, platform launches, operating model changes, and new capabilities
• Translate technical concepts into accessible, user‑friendly content
• Support aligned communications across Program, PMO, and Change teams
• Manage communication channels (email, intranet, Teams, town halls, events) to ensure messages reach the right audiences
• Measure communication effectiveness through engagement metrics, feedback, and analytics
• Continuously improve channel strategy and content delivery
• Establish templates, standards, and best practices for technology communications
• Ensure consistency of message, tone, brand, and narrative across all GTO communications
• Provide guidance and coaching to technology leaders on effective communication

Requirements

• FIELD(S) OF STUDY: ​​Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or Related Field ​
• 7+ years of professional experience in corporate communications, technology communications, or related roles
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with experience crafting executive‑level content.
• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex technology topics for broad audiences
• Experience building communication plans for programs, change initiatives, or enterprise‑wide
• Experience working within a large, global, or matrixed technology organization
• Knowledge of change management principles and adoption strategies
• Familiarity with communicating within transformation or modernization environments
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Ability to manage multiple communication streams with high quality and quick turnaround
• Experience with multimedia content (visual storytelling, video scripts, slide narratives)authority and build trusted partnerships across functions
• Clear, concise communicator: able to deliver messages that are easily understood across diverse audiences
