Responsibilities

• Develops a close working relationship with HR, Payroll, Finance, and other functional business owners to independently address problems or requests for enhancements to Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM processes.
• Performs extensive functional and technical analysis to gain a thorough understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP/HCM business process flows, configuration setups, value sets, and underlying data structures.
• Communicates problems and/or solutions to Systems Analysts and Oracle technical/functional teams.
• Keeps abreast of Oracle's quarterly release updates, evaluating new ERP/HCM features for adoption.
• Configures and maintains role-based security, data security, and approval workflows within Oracle Fusion ERP/HCM.
• Supports data loads, integrations, and conversions using File-Based Data Import (FBDI), HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extracts, and REST/SOAP web services.
• Identifies root causes of problems and develops solutions; implements changes through configuration, fast formulas, or coordinates resolution through Oracle Support service requests.
• Builds and maintains custom reports, dashboards, and data extracts using OTBI, BI Publisher, and SQL queries against Oracle Fusion ERP/HCM tables (including job, position, assignment, and legislative/extra information tables) to fulfill user and compliance reporting needs.
• Independently identifies Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM configuration, integration, or data problems; determines whether issues stem from system setup, data, or user execution.
• Based on knowledge of business needs, develops validation rules, approval workflows, and alerts to aid in user operations and data quality.
• Serves as project manager or team lead on Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects and design and configuration.
• Independently configures, maintains, and enhances complex Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and/or HCM modules (such as Financials, Procurement, Core HR, Absence Management, Compensation, Talent Management, or Payroll Interface).
• Designs and leads complex Oracle Fusion ERP/HCM configuration projects spanning multiple modules; develops test scripts and leads functional and technical testing (unit, system integration, and user acceptance testing) for new functionality, patches, and quarterly releases.
• Writes functional documentation, configuration workbooks, and end-user instructions and/or manuals.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and/or HCM functional setup, configuration, and business processes.
• Knowledge of the techniques of systems analysis as applied to Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM environments and the techniques for integrating users' needs into Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM business processes.
• Knowledge of relational database structures and SQL, including querying Oracle Fusion ERP/HCM tables.
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud reporting tools, including OTBI and BI Publisher.
• Knowledge of the techniques of testing programs, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Skill in applying configuration and reporting techniques to defined functional and technical standards, and critiquing major Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM designs and configurations.
• Ability to explain technical, abstract concepts to functional users and management.
• Ability to learn new Oracle Cloud modules, tools, and techniques as releases evolve.
• Ability to plan, monitor, and control system implementation across multiple Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM modules.
• Ability to evaluate situations, make decisions, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Requires at least a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, information systems, computer science, or a directly related field from a CHEA accredited college or university.
• AND either
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as an Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (Financials) functional or technical analyst, applications programmer, or systems analyst, including experience in SQL-based reporting and database querying. Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM is a plus.
• OR
• Nine (9) years of progressively responsible work experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (Financials) systems analysis, configuration, implementation, or support of a major complex computer system. Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM is a plus.
• The hiring authority may give preference to applicants with experience in the following:
• OTBI and BI Publisher reporting; writing and troubleshooting SQL queries against Oracle Fusion ERP/HCM data structures, including legislative and extra information tables.
• File-Based Data Import (FBDI) and, as a plus, HCM Data Loader (HDL) and HCM Extracts.
• Oracle Cloud security console and role-based security.
• Prior Oracle EBS Financials or PeopleSoft Financials experience.
• Oracle Cloud certifications.
