Job description

• The Pratt & Whitney Quality & Process Engineering (Q&PE) organization is seeking an energetic, entry level contributor to support the East Hartford Q&PE Core Laboratory Group. The Q&PE Core Laboratory Group is responsible for chemical, mechanical, and metallurgical testing for validation to blueprint and specification requirements of various aerospace raw materials and finished parts.

Responsibilities

• Perform metallurgical analyses related to the evaluation of aerospace materials for compliance to standards.
• Provide clear, concise, and accurate lab reports.
• Interact effectively with customers at all levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or other Engineering degree with minor in Metallurgy or Materials Science
• Prior metallurgical laboratory experience, and understanding of lab protocols is a plus.
• Prior RTX internship, co-op or work experience
• Minimum 3.0 GPA

• The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
