• Our Pratt & Whitney Digital Technology team has an exciting new remote job opportunity for a Full Stack AI/ML Developer - Digital Products.

Responsibilities

• We have an exciting opportunity for a Full Stack | AI/ML Developer!
• The successful candidate will be collaborative, technically strong, and passionate about building digital products that deliver impactful user experiences.
• You will work across engineering, data science, AI/ML, design, and product teams to solve complex real-world problems and push the boundaries of what’s possible.
• This role will have a hands-on impact on defining product vision, shaping roadmaps, integrating AI/ML capabilities, and delivering modern digital solutions that meet customer and business needs.
• - Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to design, build, and manage digital products from concept through launch and adoption.
• - Develop front-end architectures and intuitive, responsive user interfaces.
• - Design and implement backend services using languages such as C#, Java, and Python.
• - Build and maintain scalable APIs, microservices, and integration frameworks.
• - Partner with Data Scientists and AI Engineers to integrate AI/ML models into applications, including inference pipelines, intelligent features, and model-driven user experiences.
• - Build and maintain data and application pipelines that support AI/ML functionality and model deployment.
• - Collaborate on feature engineering, model testing, validation, and operationalization to ensure stable and scalable AI usage.
• - Apply DevOps practices across CI/CD, automated testing, cloud deployment, and containerized workloads.
• - Influence stakeholders and support decision-making through clear communication, structured artifacts, and product storytelling.
• - Participate in Agile workflows including sprint definition, backlog prioritization, and iterative product releases.
• - Stay current on emerging technologies including cloud platforms, AI/ML frameworks, front-end and backend tools, and modern development practices.
• - Ensure solutions meet both technical requirements and customer needs.
• - Support UI/UX design standards and best practices.

Requirements

• - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related technical field with 12+ years of applicable work experience; OR an Advanced Degree with 10+ years of applicable work experience.
• - 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, analytics, AI/ML, or related technical domains.
• - 5+ years architecting cloud-native data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Deep experience with Databricks, Lakehouse architectures, and modern ELT/ETL tooling.
• - Strong understanding of distributed systems, real‑time data streaming, data governance, and API/Integration architectures.
• - Demonstrated ability to design and implement enterprise‑scale data architecture solutions.
• - Familiarity with AI frameworks and tooling such as MLflow, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and cloud‑native ML platforms (Azure ML, SageMaker, Vertex).
• - 12+ years of experience in digital technology and/or product development.
• - Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, or other cloud platforms.
• - Strong professional experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• - Experience developing microservices and REST APIs.
• - Proficient with CI/CD practices and production deployment.
• - Experience with Agile software delivery.
• - Experience with SDLC management.
• - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration platforms.
• - Familiarity with web application security concepts.
• - Experience with Apache Kafka and Kafka Streams.
• - Experience building or supporting AI/ML features, including model integration, inference APIs, or application‑level ML workflows.
• - Ability to explain technical concepts to engineering and non‑technical stakeholders.
• - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• - Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• - Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with autonomy and accountability.
• - Proven ability to drive modernization, cloud migration, or digital transformation initiatives.

Benefits

• The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
