Job description

• We are hiring a Product Manager to work onsite at our Winston Salem, NC facility. You will work independently, maintains accountability for a specific product line from development through sustainment and finally sunsetting, leads small/medium programs and teams, analyzes data, leads risk and opportunity management, recommends resolutions for program problems, manages vendors, maintains progress reports, and champions margin improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Works autonomously with limited oversight leading projects and programs by developing program plans, schedules and budgets for programs under his/her responsibility.
• Analyzes data and monitors programs to ensure adherence to contract scope of work, cost, schedule and technical specifications.
• Leads product management content for business development activity.
• Develops, maintains and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the product to internal executive leadership and customers.
• Proactively identifies and addresses risks and develops solutions to problems which require critical thinking, creativity, and innovation.
• Leads product work with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with the product objectives.
• Assists in guiding new product development within the assigned product line.
• Manages the contract lifecycle, cost, schedule and performance of company programs.

Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems or sites.
• Program management experience leading cross functional teams.
• Previous experience working with operations/manufacturing engineering organizations.
• Experience using Integrated Project Scheduling software

• The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
