• The Receptionist serves as the welcoming presence and front door of Austin Ridge Bible Church, reflecting God's heart through hospitality, service, and excellence. This role creates a warm, inviting experience for every guest while providing administrative support that helps the church office operate smoothly. Through each interaction, the Receptionist represents Austin Ridge with professionalism, kindness, and a servant's heart.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, assist, and direct guests, creating a warm and hospitable environment for all who enter the church.
• Answer and manage incoming phone calls, emails, and voicemails promptly, professionally, and graciously.
• Facilitate the process for callers and walk-in guests by connecting them with the appropriate staff and resources.
• Open and prepare the lobby, café, reception area, and workroom each day, ensuring all spaces are clean, organized, and guest-ready.
• Sign in visitors, volunteers, contractors, and other guests according to church procedures.
• Maintain the workroom and common supply areas, ensuring supplies are orderly and available as needed.
• Manage inventory and order office, café, kitchen, printing, and ministry supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Coordinate, recruit, train, schedule, and support a team of front desk volunteers to provide reception coverage during lunches, meetings, appointments, and vacations.
• Communicate pastoral care and ministry information to the appropriate staff members in a timely manner.
• Assist the HR Director with projects, special assignments, and other administrative support as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of the mission and ministry of Austin Ridge Bible Church

Requirements

• Is proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn and become proficient in additional web-based software and church management systems.
• Maintains professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Supports and affirms the Statement of Faith of Austin Ridge Bible Church.
• Is, or is willing to become, an active member of Austin Ridge Bible Church.
