Job description

• We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to support the day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives across Oak Essentials, with a particular focus on influencer marketing.
• This role will play an important part in scaling our influencer and ambassador programs while also supporting broader marketing priorities across content, events and partnerships, our spa and hospitality partner community, and other cross-functional initiatives. The ideal candidate is excited to build deep expertise in influencer marketing while also gaining exposure to a wide range of marketing functions.
• The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-oriented, and excited by both the creative and operational sides of marketing, with a strong ability to manage details, stay on top of multiple priorities, and follow through on execution.
• Location: Los Angeles, hybrid. One day a week in-person, including our DTLA warehouse.

Responsibilities

• This role will play an important part in scaling our influencer and ambassador programs while also supporting broader marketing priorities across content, events and partnerships, our spa and hospitality partner community, and other cross-functional initiatives. • Influencer Outreach and Gifting
• Support creator discovery and outreach across Instagram, TikTok, ShopMy, Cruva, and other platforms, using performance data and brand fit to help build a high-quality creator pipeline.
• Manage day-to-day influencer communication including outreach, follow-ups, event invitations, and RSVP management.
• Collaborate on creative briefs for upcoming campaigns, including curating mood boards and shaping creator talking points.
• Coordinate evergreen and launch giftings, from list development and address collection through fulfillment, with occasional hands-on support at our Downtown Los Angeles warehouse.
• Support our ambassador community from prospecting and onboarding through ongoing communication and engagement, including maintaining the ambassador roster and monthly newsletter.
• Monitor social channels to capture creator content, track placements and partner deliverables, and help identify high-performing content for broader marketing use.
• Assist with monthly influencer reporting by gathering performance results, content highlights, and key learnings.
• Stay close to the influencer landscape and competitor activity, bringing forward emerging creators, content formats, trends, and partnership opportunities relevant to the brand.
• Provide day-to-day executional support across the Marketing team as priorities evolve.
• Affiliate
• Manage the day-to-day relationship with Oak's affiliate partners through the CJ (Commission Junction) network
• Draft and send regular affiliate newsletters to keep partners informed on upcoming promotions, launches, and sales
• Keep affiliate partners up to date on program details, updating tracking links, codes, and assets as changes occur
• Serve as the main point of contact for affiliate partner questions and requests
• Events & Partnerships
• Support the planning and execution of influencer, brand, community, and partner events from concept through completion.
• Coordinate event logistics including vendors, timelines, budgets, guest lists, invitations, RSVPs, gifting, product needs, and on-site execution.
• Identify and coordinate relevant creators, partners, and community members for key brand moments.
• B2B Marketing
• Support marketing programs for Oak Essentials’ growing community of spa and hospitality partners, working closely with the Wholesale team to ensure partners feel equipped to bring Oak Essentials to life for their clients.
• Own recurring partner communications, including a bi-monthly newsletter featuring new launches, brand updates, product education, events, and marketing resources.
• Support Oak Essentials participation in partner-hosted events, including product, gifting, creative assets, staffing, and other executional needs.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in marketing, influencer marketing, brand marketing, communications, PR, partnerships, or a related field, ideally within beauty, wellness, fashion, or lifestyle.
• Strong understanding of the current creator and social landscape.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong writing and editing instincts.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for maintaining trackers, analyzing basic performance data, and developing presentations.
• A collaborative team player who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get things done.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for travel around Los Angeles.
• Flexibility to travel to events, which occasionally fall outside standard business hours.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to move and lift heavy objects (10 pounds or more) occasionally.
• Experience with ShopMy, LTK, Monday.com, Slack, Bynder, Affiliate Networks, and Microsoft SharePoint.
• Exposure to wholesale or B2B marketing programs.
• Experience building or managing an ambassador, affiliate, or community program.
