Job description
- The Revenue Operations Manager will proactively identify friction in the sales process and find ways to reduce that friction to make the organization work more effectively and efficiently. The primary focus of the job is to increase sales productivity by simplifying processes, implementing sales automation tools and developing/evolving standardized reporting, including dashboards
- This role owns the end-to-end process of tracking the sales process and conversion rates throughout the sales funnel and will develop insights from the data to make recommendations to improve sales performance.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the optimization and adoption of tools, both new and existing for various teams.
- Develop reporting and dashboards. Including standardized views for Forecasting, Pipeline management, and Activity management.
- Analyze activities and metrics to identify areas of opportunity for improvement and implement solutions for increased funnel conversion.
- Provide insights and analysis to help sales prioritize leads and accounts, and drive process improvement throughout the funnel for our new business and growth teams.
- Responsible for process development, adoption and refinement. This includes engaging with various stakeholders to get feedback to drive improvements and continuously challenge the status quo.
- Partner with other leaders to build out support infrastructure.
- Define sales related workflows and hand offs.
- Assess sales training needs and partner with Learning & Development on the development and administration of a curriculum.
- Partner with leadership for development of quotas and commission plans.
- Partner with leadership to continuously improve the sales process and drive sales productivity by adding valued features into our CRM and finding ways for sales to do their daily job in a more efficient manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of relevant sales operations and/or sales management experience.
- Validated experience using Salesforce.com with admin privileges.
- Experience identifying necessary sales process improvements and leading projects to drive change
- Experience modeling potential compensation and quota structures
- Experience researching and implementing new sales tools to aid the workflow of an inside sales force.
- Understanding of Enterprise Sales business models and Marketplace experience or usage based business models a plus
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative skills and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Advanced Excel skills with a strong understanding of Salesforce and/or other CRM applications
- Detailed oriented, highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Resourceful and creative problem solver.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Experience in Payment or Financial Services industries.
