• The Learning Designer creates engaging, accessible, and scalable learning experiences within Lennar’s learning and development organization. Operating as part of a cross-functional program team, this role applies learning science, UX principles, and AI-assisted design practices to build high-quality training assets across multiple modalities. The Learning Designer takes approved program outlines and translates them into effective learning solutions, from e-learning modules and instructor-led sessions to simulations, job aids, and performance support tools. This role requires strong craft judgment to shape and validate content (including AI-generated outputs), a collaborative approach to working with Program Leads, Facilitators, and business stakeholders, and the ability to design solutions that leverage the full capabilities of Lennar’s learning technology ecosystem.
• Success in this role is measured by the quality, accessibility, and instructional effectiveness of learning assets delivered, the strength of cross-functional collaboration and relationships built across program teams, the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining attention to detail, and leveraging AI-enabled workflows to improve design efficiency and output quality.

Responsibilities

• • As a member of cross-functional program teams, design and build a wide range of learning assets from approved program outlines across multiple concurrent programs, including e-learnings, instructor-led trainings (virtual and in-person), blended experiences, simulations, videos, assessments, practice activities, performance support tools, and job aids aligned to measurable outcomes.
• • Leverage AI-assisted authoring tools and prompt engineering techniques to accelerate content development, including ideation, drafting, storyboarding, format conversion, and assessment question generation. Validate all AI-generated outputs for accuracy, instructional integrity, and quality before use.
• • Apply instructional design best practices, adult learning principles, and experiential learning approaches to create content that drives learner engagement and measurable performance improvement.
• • Ensure all learning materials meet accessibility and inclusion standards (WCAG, ADA) and reflect organizational branding, tone, and UX standards across modalities.
• • Conduct thorough quality assurance on all deliverables before deployment, verifying functionality, accessibility, content accuracy, compliance with legal and regulatory standards, and alignment with organizational policies.
• • Design solutions that work with and leverage the features of Lennar’s Learning Management System, including AI-enabled capabilities (such as natural language search), assessment
• question types, observation checklists, and content delivery features. Ensure supporting assets (such as caption files for video content) are created to optimize the LMS learner experience. • Collaborate with Facilitators early in the design process to test and refine learning activities through dry runs, incorporate delivery perspective into design decisions, and ensure materials are delivery-ready. For programs in sustainment, execute small edits and one-off updates to launched assets and communicate directly with Facilitators on minor adjustments. Escalate content changes that affect program integrity, business alignment, or learning outcomes to the Program Lead.
• • Participate in content review sessions with business stakeholders and subject matter experts, gathering feedback and clarifying details on training materials. Represent the organization professionally during stakeholder interactions and maintain positive working relationships with business stakeholders.
• • Analyze learner feedback, assessment data, and performance indicators within assigned programs to iterate on designs and drive continuous improvement of learning experiences in alignment with the Program Lead.
• • Contribute to and maintain the component library, templates, and design documentation to enable reuse, scalability, and consistent quality across Lennar’s learning and development organization.
• • Contribute to AI workflow optimization by sharing effective prompts, techniques, and best practices with the program team to improve design efficiency and output quality.

Requirements

• • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning and Development, Education, Learning Experience Design, or a related field.
• • 3+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or a related field within a corporate environment.
• • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia, and multimedia development tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Vyond, video editing software).
• • Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted workflows in content design or development, including proficiency with AI content generation tools, prompt engineering for learning and development applications, and the ability to evaluate and quality-assure AI-generated outputs.
• • Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning theories, experiential learning principles, and learning evaluation models.
• • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA) and the ability to apply inclusive design principles across all deliverables.
• • Experience with Learning Management Systems and familiarity with LMS features that impact learning experience design, including content delivery, assessment tools, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• • Strong writing, visual communication, and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex topics into engaging, learner-friendly content across multiple modalities.
• • Ability to facilitate content review sessions effectively with stakeholders and subject matter experts, and to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines within a program-team environment.
