Job description

• We’re looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer / SDET to join the GridGain Core QA Team and help drive the quality, reliability, and performance of our distributed database platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests and support frameworks for functional and performance testing;
• Participate in release testing activities and contribute to improving the release validation process;
• Validate new product features, bug fixes, and performance improvements;
• Investigate complex issues involving distributed transactions, replication, networking, storage, and cluster management;
• Design and implement automation solutions to reduce manual effort and improve team productivity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation, or software engineering.
• Strong Java programming skills and knowledge of the Java ecosystem;
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests and frameworks.
• Experience testing distributed or backend systems;
• Multithreading;
• Concurrency;
• Networking;
• Distributed systems concepts;
• Transactions;
• Consistency models.
• Experience with NoSQL and/or distributed databases, especially Apache Ignite or GridGain;
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
• Experience with MariaDB or other relational databases;
• Experience with modern AI tools and applying them to improve engineering productivity;
• Experience with performance testing, profiling, and troubleshooting complex systems
