National Logistics Manager ANZ at Weber Blackstone in Adelaide, South Australia

Job description

• Lead logistics performance across Australia and New Zealand and help shape a safer, intuitive and more efficient supply chain.
• Weber Blackstone is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead the day to day performance and continuous improvement of our domestic logistics and warehousing operations across Australia and New Zealand.
• Reporting to the ANZ Supply Chain Manager, you will manage our network of third-party logistics providers, transport partners and company operated warehouse activities. You will ensure products are received, stored and delivered safely, accurately and efficiently, while building accountable for supplier relationships and improving service and cost performance.
• This role is based in Adelaide (at our Head Office), however, we are open to considering candidates located across Australia.

Responsibilities

• Your day to day responsible include (however not limited to) -
• Managing logistics and warehousing operations across Australia and New Zealand.
• Leading the performance and relationships of 3PL providers and transport partners.
• Resolving service failures, disputes and operational issues through effective root-cause analysis and corrective action.
• Monitoring logistics KPIs, including delivery performance, fulfilment, productivity, inventory accuracy, claims, damages and costs.
• Managing logistics expenditure and supporting budgeting, forecasting and supplier negotiations.
• Identifying and implementing improvements in efficiency, service, scalability and cost-to-serve.
• Promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance with WHS, EHS, contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Leading, coaching and supporting logistics and warehouse team members.

Requirements

• You will be an accountable and collaborative leader who can balance strategic thinking with a hands on approach. You will communicate confidently, manage competing priorities and be comfortable challenging established processes to find better ways of working. To be successful in this role, you will have/be -
• A relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business or a related discipline is desirable.
• Experience in Logistics, Warehousing, Transport or Supply Chain Management (ideally within a multi-site or 3PL environment).
• Demonstrated success managing 3PL and transport providers, supplier performance and operational issues.
• Experience leading teams and delivering continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong commercial, analytical, negotiation and problem-solving capabilities.
• Confidence using data to identify trends, determine root causes and drive practical improvements.
• Working knowledge of ERP, WMS and/or TMS systems (experience with Pronto would be advantageous).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business reporting or analytics tools.
