• The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.

Responsibilities

• As a Part-Time Student - Purchasing for ISG Fargo loctaed in Fargo, ND you will:
• Provides purchasing support to buyers and the purchasing assistant, creation of non-inventory purchase orders from approved requisitions, monitoring the Purchasing Admin inbox, responding to purchase order questions, and making updates as requested.
• Reviews prototype and production shortages, confirms supplier ship dates, helps locate available stock to cover material gaps, follows up on past-due orders, and updates purchase orders based on supplier responses to reschedule reports.
• This position is not available to students on immigration visas

Requirements

• Ideally you will be pursuing a degree Business Administration, Supply Management, Finance or a related discipline
• Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited University
• Graduation date of May 2028 or later
• Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
• Available to work 10-20 hours/week during the academic year
• Available to work 30-40 hours/week during the summer semester
• Must be able to commute to the work location in Fargo, ND on a daily basis year-round
• Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior standing students are preferred, Senior standing and those pursuing Advanced degrees may apply.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in supply management, purchasing, manufacturing, or business operations.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
• Past Experience in Supply Chain Management or Manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP Systems or Power BI Reporting
