• Description
• The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the accurate processing of weekly payroll for hundreds of temporary employees across multiple clients and job sites. This role supports both Augment Human Resource Services and Augment Professional Services, ensuring timecards are collected, reviewed, and processed in a timely and compliant manner. The ideal candidate is highly organized, deadline-driven, and capable of handling sensitive information with discretion and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for all temporary workers and internal employees across both Augment brands using Paycom.
• Collect, verify, and audit timecard submissions from multiple sources, including digital and client-submitted formats.
• Coordinate with Account Recruiting Managers (ARMs) and client Site Supervisors to ensure accurate hours, job codes, and pay rates.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
• Ensure payroll compliance with state and federal laws, including wage/hour regulations and tax withholding.
• Maintain accurate employee and payroll records in alignment with company policies and legal standards.
• Assist with direct deposit setup, garnishment processing, W-2 requests, and year-end tax filings.
• Support audits and internal reporting as needed for finance, HR, and compliance teams.
• Identify opportunities for payroll process improvement and contribute to workflow optimization.

Requirements

• 2+ years of payroll experience in a multi-state, high-volume environment.
• Familiarity with payroll systems; Paycom experience strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of payroll practices, wage and hour law, and tax withholding regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer service mindset.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and digital communication tools.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not required.
• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred.
• Relevant work experience may substitute for formal education.
