• As we continue to expand our manufacturing operations and grow our workforce, we are seeking a dynamic, safety-focused Production Supervisor to lead our Back Half Night Shift manufacturing team across our 24x7 semiconductor fabrication operation. This leadership role is critical to driving operational excellence in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment through proactive quality management, employee development, and continuous improvement initiatives. A Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring safety and quality standards are met, optimizing production workflows, coaching and developing team members, and fostering collaboration across shifts and departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and problem-solving skills and be committed to building a positive, high-performing culture that supports our continued growth and success.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Operational Excellence
• Promote and role-model a Zero Injury Safety culture while ensuring compliance with safety policies, cleanroom protocols, 5S standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive a culture of accountability, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Enterprise Excellence initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Production Oversight
• Lead a team of 20+ Operators and Leads to safely achieve daily production, quality, and productivity goals.
• Monitor production performance and respond quickly to operational issues affecting output, quality, or schedule attainment.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams to support efficient manufacturing operations.
• Support new product introductions, process changes, and manufacturing improvement initiatives.
• Quality Leadership
• Promote a zero-defect mindset and ensure adherence to manufacturing procedures and specifications.
• Lead problem-solving activities using methodologies such as 8D, 5-Why, and root cause analysis.
• Escalate and drive resolution of quality issues while reinforcing process discipline within the team.
• Team Leadership & Development
• Coach, develop, and motivate Operators and Leads to achieve individual and team performance goals.
• Conduct performance discussions, provide regular feedback, and support employee development activities.
• Partner with Production Managers on staffing, onboarding, training, and cross-training initiatives.
• Foster a positive, engaged, and inclusive team environment.
• Communication & Collaboration
• Maintain effective communication with employees, peer supervisors, Production Managers, and support organizations.
• Ensure smooth shift pass-downs and alignment across all manufacturing shifts.
• Communicate production priorities, performance results, and operational concerns in a timely manner.

• Participate in required training and development opportunities to enhance technical and leadership capabilities.
• Stay current on manufacturing best practices and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements

• AS or BS degree and/or equivalent experience supervising in a manufacturing environment. Degree and study in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or other technical fields is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience managing a team of direct reports in a manufacturing environment. Semiconductor manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal) as you will be working in a team environment that is very data driven.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methods & Theory of Constraints.
• For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. As such, applicants for this position – except US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) – may have to go through an export licensing review process.

• This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors
• This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.
• Benefits for the position includes 10 paid holidays per year, paid vacation starting at 136 hours per year for full-time employees (prorated for part-time employees), and paid sick time that exceeds the requirements of the Washington State Sick Leave law.
• The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $72,000 to $99,000.
• Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
