• As a Ground Operations Supervisor, you are a hands-on leader, working day-to-day with our Warehouse Associates and Leads. You will be responsible for the development of the warehouse staff, including coaching them on the skills necessary to be successful in the warehouse and developing for future success. You will set a standard of operational excellence and ensure your team’s success through values-based leadership. Additionally, you will be responsible for the accuracy of reports, scheduling, cross-functional communication, and ensuring sort and launch packages are processed efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Ability to Plan and Prioritize Team and Business Initiatives - including quickly navigating technology platforms to manage operational and logistical challenges, having a consistent and intentional approach to team development, and a plan to drive continuous improvement with identified milestones.
• Assess operational needs swiftly and work cross-functionally to orchestrate seamless operations, prioritizing safety, and driving success.
• Works well in an ever-changing environment to ensure on-time delivery and exceed expectations of our customers, clients, crowdsourced drivers, and employees.
• Effectively schedule shifts that align with business needs based on operational hours and projected volume.
• Hands-on leader with the ability to coach, train and develop team members.
• Proven record of leading a team with values-based leadership to achieve key KPIs and metrics for the operation.
• Demonstrates a high level of teamwork, partnering cross-functionally to ensure a successful operation and organization as a whole

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in management in logistics, operations, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficient in technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to team members and driver partners.
• Willingness to complete a comprehensive background check
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends, as required by operational needs.
