Job description
- The HR Generalist supports day-to-day human resources operations across multiple manufacturing locations. This role serves as a trusted partner to employees and leaders, helping drive employee engagement, compliance, talent acquisition, and workforce effectiveness. The position plays a key role in supporting business objectives by delivering HR programs and processes that promote a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Support employee relations, employee engagement, and workplace culture initiatives while advising leaders on communication, performance, and conflict resolution matters.
- Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, and pre-employment processes to ensure a positive and compliant candidate and new hire experience.
- Administer HR processes including employee records management, performance management support, corrective actions, and HR compliance activities.
- Partner with business leaders and EHS teams to support safety programs, workers’ compensation activities, and return-to-work processes.
- Analyze workforce needs, support training and development initiatives, and participate in HR projects, audits, retention efforts, and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
- Understanding of multiple human resources disciplines, including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and compliance.
- Working knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, FLSA, ADA, and EEO requirements.
- Ability to use HRIS systems and maintain employee records with a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with employees and leaders in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation for this position will be determined based on a combination of factors, including education, professional certifications, relevant experience, and other job-related considerations permitted by law.
