• You will be one of two dedicated consultants embedded with a leading consumer health client based in Summit, New Jersey, working across some of the most recognized brands in skin care, oral care, and self care. The client has selected Circana as its analytics partner for price and promotion and assortment, and you will be the person who turns model output into decisions. This is a decision advisor role, not a platform operator role. You will frame the business question with the client's RGM, brand, category and customer teams, work with Circana's modeling team to get the right answer, lead the working session, and land a recommendation the client actually takes to market.
• You will work across the full program, spanning both price and promotion and assortment, and you will be measured on the commercial decisions you influence, not the number of scenarios you run. You will spend a minimum of two days a week onsite with the client. The role sits in Circana's Analytics organization, with day-to-day account accountability to the Client Insights team that leads the relationship.

Responsibilities

• Be the trusted advisor to RGM and category teams: Be the day-to-day analytics partner to the client's pricing, RGM, category and brand teams. Understand their planning calendar, their line review cycle, and the retailer conversations they are preparing for, and bring a point of view to those moments rather than waiting to be asked. Earn the seat at the table where pricing and assortment decisions get made.
• Shape pricing and promotion decisions: Interpret base and promoted price elasticities, cross-price effects, price gaps and thresholds across the client's categories and key retailers. Use Circana's platform to pressure test pricing and promotion scenarios with the client, then translate them into pricing corridors, promotional guidelines and retailer-specific recommendations the client can defend in a buyer meeting.
• Shape assortment and retailer decisions: Apply demand transferability and incrementality outputs at the retailer and market level to line reviews, new item decisions, delisting and planogram trade-offs. Use assortment simulations, including planogram upload and new item scenarios, to build the retailer story with the client and help them win the line review.
• Connect analytics to commercial outcomes: Frame the question, coordinate the modeling work, lead the working session, and package the recommendation. Follow the decision through to what happened in market and bring that back to the client so the program is judged on results. Manage the cadence of quarterly refreshes, remodels, new item updates and category reviews so the client always knows what is coming and when.
• Partner with Circana's delivery teams: Work closely with the Global Solutions modeling team, the Client Insights team on the account, and the dedicated analyst. Own the specs the models depend on (product groupings, attributes, geographies) and make sure what gets built matches what the client will use.
• Build capability on the client side: Train and support client users on the platforms, run office hours, and raise the client's fluency in elasticities, transferability and optimization so they can self-serve on the routine questions and lean on you for the hard ones.
• Find the next opportunity: Spot the next question before the client asks it. Actively look for adjacent problems the client is working on, whether in Growth Consulting, demand forecasting, causal analytics or other Circana solutions, and bring them to the commercial lead with a point of view on how to scope them. You will be closer to the client's agenda than anyone else at Circana, and we expect you to use that.
• Communicate with presence: Present clearly and confidently to senior client stakeholders. Tell the story from what the model says to what the business should do, and be willing to challenge the client's thinking when the data supports it.

Requirements

• 10 to 14 years of experience in CPG revenue growth management, pricing and promotion analytics, category management, or a consulting or analytics role serving CPG clients
• A track record of using price elasticity, promotional effectiveness, demand transferability or assortment optimization outputs to influence real pricing, promotion or assortment decisions, and the ability to explain how those models work to a business audience
• Experience with Point of Sale, syndicated and panel data; Circana or comparable syndicated data experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead working sessions, present recommendations to director and VP-level client stakeholders, and hold a position when challenged
• Experience in consumer health, OTC, beauty or personal care categories preferred
• Familiarity with pricing, promotion and assortment simulation platforms preferred
• Bachelor's degree required in business, economics, marketing, statistics or a related field; advanced degree in a quantitative discipline preferred but not required
• Located in or able to commute to Summit, New Jersey a minimum of two days per week
