• The Software Developer Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting the planning, design, development, testing, implementation, and support of software applications and systems. This role will work as part of a project team under the direction of a Manager, or experienced software developer. The intern will have the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects while developing their programming, problem-solving, and software development skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with programming, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of software applications.
• Support development of databases, user interfaces, reports, and system integrations.
• Work with project teams to understand requirements and support software solutions.
• Assist with software, hardware, and network configuration and troubleshooting.
• Participate in application testing, implementation, and system startup activities.
• Support customer projects and gain exposure to software implementation and support.
• Assist with user training and project documentation.
• Learn and apply software development practices while working alongside experienced team members.
• Maintain confidentiality when working with customer and company information.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Development, or a related field.
• Understanding of fundamental programming concepts and software development practices.
• Exposure to software application design, development, testing, and documentation.
• Ability to understand technical requirements and apply them to software solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work with limited supervision while also seeking guidance when needed.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Programming experience through coursework, projects, or previous internship experience.
• Exposure to databases, SQL, user interfaces, or software development tools.
• Interest in developing software applications and solving technical problems.
• Ability to learn new technologies, applications, and systems.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively as part of a project team.
