• Who we’re looking for
• We are seeking a Finance Asset Manager to provide financial oversight across a portfolio of renewable energy investments and SPVs.
• Working closely with outsourced service providers, auditors, lenders and internal stakeholders, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality financial reporting, strong governance and effective financial controls across a complex portfolio of assets.
• This role offers broad exposure to renewable infrastructure investing, fund structures and asset management, making it an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to develop their career within a growing sector.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Financial Oversight
• Oversee financial reporting across a portfolio of SPVs and investment structures.
• Review and challenge reporting prepared by outsourced administrators and asset managers.
• Ensure timely delivery of management accounts, budgets, forecasts, statutory accounts and lender reporting.
• Maintain strong financial controls and governance standards across the portfolio.
• Build an understanding of the underlying assets, investment structures and commercial drivers.
• Stakeholder & Service Provider Management
• Act as a key contact for external administrators, asset managers, auditors and lenders.
• Manage service providers to ensure high-quality and timely deliverables.
• Support the resolution of accounting, reporting and governance matters.
• Build effective relationships across investment, asset management and fund finance teams.
• Audit, Compliance & Governance
• Support annual audits and statutory reporting processes.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisers and other professional service providers.
• Assist with tax, compliance and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Support board and governance processes across portfolio companies.
• Process Improvement
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, controls and data quality.
• Support automation and efficiency initiatives across the finance function.
• Contribute to the development of scalable processes as the business grows.

Requirements

• Essential
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Approximately 2-4 years' post-qualified experience within asset management, infrastructure, renewable energy, audit or a related environment.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Experience working with, or reviewing the output of, complex legal entity structures and SPVs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders and external service providers.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across a diverse portfolio of assets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Proactive approach to identifying issues and driving solutions.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Desirable
• Renewable energy, infrastructure or real assets experience.
• Experience of outsourced administration models.
• Exposure to debt financing structures and lender reporting.
• Exposure to acquisitions, disposals or restructuring transactions.
• Knowledge of Power BI, data analytics or automation tools.
• Experience working with large, multi-entity investment structures.
