Job description

• Vestwell's marketing team is looking for a Senior Marketing Operations Partner to serve as the primary owner of marketing analytics and reporting. This person will partner with Data, Product, and Revenue Technology to understand the data available across Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Salesforce, bring those sources into a consistent reporting view, and build the dashboards marketing needs to measure performance and make better decisions.
• The role will also own marketing attributes, the data points used to identify meaningful customer groups and support targeted campaigns. Working closely with Product and Engineering, this person will understand how attributes are defined and used, represent Marketing when attributes change, and help campaign teams apply them effectively.
• This is a hands-on analytics and reporting role, not a software or data engineering position. Success requires strong data judgment, practical reporting and dashboard-building skills, a clear understanding of how business systems connect, and the ability to translate stakeholder needs into useful reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own marketing analytics and reporting. Serve as the main point of contact for marketing performance data, dashboards, recurring reporting, and measurement questions. Establish clear metric definitions and reporting standards so teams use a consistent view of performance.
• Understand and connect the data. Partner with Data and Revenue Technology to map the available pre and post-sale data across Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Salesforce. Determine how those sources should work together, identify access or quality gaps, and create a reliable reporting view of the customer journey.
• Build dashboards and recurring reports. Translate marketing questions into practical dashboards and reports that track initiatives, campaign performance, funnel movement, and business outcomes. Maintain the reports, validate the underlying data, and improve them as needs change.
• Own marketing attributes. Maintain Marketing's understanding of the customer attributes used for segmentation and targeting. Partner with Product to understand how an attribute is defined, where it comes from, and how it can be used. Act as Marketing's point of contact when Product or Engineering proposes a new attribute or a change to an existing one.
• Enable targeted campaigns. Help marketing teams identify useful customer groupings and apply approved attributes to campaign design, audience selection, personalization, and performance analysis. Confirm that segments are based on reliable data and can be measured consistently.
• Measure the marketing funnel. Connect upper-funnel activity and pre-sale engagement to lead progression, sales outcomes, and relevant post-sale signals. Develop campaign and funnel reporting while clearly documenting data and attribution limitations.
• Coordinate across teams. Work comfortably with Marketing, Data, Revenue Technology, Product, and Engineering to define requirements, resolve data questions, prioritize work, and communicate findings in terms each team can use.

Requirements

• The Necessities
• 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, marketing operations, business intelligence, or a similar data-focused role.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Google Analytics and HubSpot reporting, including the ability to build, validate, and explain reports within each platform.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce reporting and data structures, with the ability to partner with Revenue Technology to obtain and apply the data Marketing needs.
• Experience building dashboards and reporting frameworks in a business intelligence or data visualization tool such as Tableau, Sigma, or Looker.
• Experience reconciling data from multiple systems, documenting metric definitions, identifying data-quality issues, and explaining the limits of the available data.
• Experience using customer attributes, segments, or product data to support targeted marketing campaigns and measurement.
• Strong analytical judgment and the ability to translate business questions into clear data requirements, useful reports, and actionable findings.
• Demonstrated ability to work across Marketing, Data, Revenue Technology, Product, and Engineering teams, including stakeholders with different technical backgrounds.
• Strong project management and communication skills, with close attention to accuracy, consistency, and follow-through.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, analytics, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in financial services, technology, or another regulated industry.
• Relevant Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce, or business intelligence certifications.
• Familiarity with product or behavioral analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Pendo.
• Basic familiarity with SQL, data warehouses, or data integration concepts. This knowledge is helpful for partnering with technical teams but is not an engineering requirement.

• The expected base salary range for this position is $105K - $120K base. This position is eligible to participate in the Company Bonus Pool and is eligible to receive new hire equity in the Company. Please note that salary bands are based on NY and other similar metro areas and may differ based on where the role is ultimately hired.
