Job description

• Medical Laboratory Technologist to work in the Hematology/Core Laboratory under the direct supervision of supervisor
• Will be responsible for performing a variety of complex and routine test within the Core Laboratory complying with all safety and regulatory requirement
• Required to rotate weekends and scheduled holidays based on the needs of the department; participate in interdepartmental collaboration within the institution, to provide the highest quality patient care

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Master's Degree in chemical, Physical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology from an approved program
• Certified as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, by New York State Education Department
• One-year relevant clinical laboratory experience needed
