Job description

• We are seeking an experienced **HR Business Partner** to support employees and plant leadership in a manufacturing environment. This role will serve as a strategic HR partner while also managing day-to-day HR activities including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, retention, and talent development.

Responsibilities

• * Partner with plant leaders and employees on HR-related matters.
• * Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and employee retention initiatives.
• * Lead HR projects and process improvement initiatives from start to finish.
• * Mentor and support junior HR team members.
• * Analyze HR processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
• * Develop and improve HR procedures and SOPs.
• * Build strong relationships with employees, leadership, and other stakeholders.
• * Support strategic HR planning and implementation.
• * Monitor HR metrics and use data to improve processes and employee outcomes.
• * Handle multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements

• * Experience in a **Generalist HR / HR Business Partner** role.
• * Manufacturing or plant environment experience.
• * Experience supporting **plant leaders and employees**.
• * Strong experience with **recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retention**.
• * Experience with HR process improvement and project leadership.
• * Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• * Ability to work **onsite in Abilene, TX**.
