Job description
- The Internet is now the heartbeat of our home, but too often internet service is frustrating and unreliable. IQ Fiber was created to offer 100% fiber-optic fast internet, transparent pricing, and attentive customer service to deliver a Smarter internet experience. As part of the rapidly growing IQ Fiber team, your contributions will directly affect our success. Your work matters here.
- We're looking for energetic, collaborative, and customer-focused talent with the ability to proactively move our business forward. In return, you'll find a place where your voice matters. You'll find a team who works hard and has fun. And, if you're like us, you'll know you made a Smarter career choice.
- IQ Fiber is seeking an energetic, results-driven Sales Recruiter to build the teams that power our growth. Reporting to the SVP, Sales, this role owns full-cycle recruitment for IQ Fiber's sales organization across all three of our revenue engines – Residential, Community Development, and Commercial – partnering closely with sales leaders in every market we serve to source, engage, and close top-notch sales talent who win and stay.
- This is a high-volume, high-impact role. You'll keep a steady pipeline flowing for our field sales teams while running targeted searches for residential sales advisors, account executives and community development roles – bringing sales-minded urgency, a great candidate experience, and consistent, compliant hiring practices to every search.
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruitment for all sales roles – from intake through offer acceptance – across Residential, Community Development, Commercial, and Sales Operations.
- Partner with sales leaders at every level to understand hiring needs, market dynamics, and what top performers look like in each role – holding a consistent intake and pipeline review cadence.
- Maintain an always-on pipeline for high-volume field sales roles, including Direct Sales Advisors and Senior Sales & Events Advisors, so open territories are filled quickly in every market.
- Run targeted searches for Residential, Commercial and Community Development roles, including Inside Sales Representatives, Account Executives, and Community Development Managers, using proactive outbound sourcing to reach passive talent.
- Build market-by-market sourcing strategies – job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, local networks, schools, and hiring events – as IQ Fiber grows into new markets.
- Write compelling, accurate job postings and partner with hiring managers to set up knockout screening questions before roles go live.
- Conduct phone screens that evaluate sales ability, coachability, resilience, and alignment with IQ Fiber values, and present well-qualified candidates promptly.
- Coordinate interviews that follow IQ Fiber's interview sequence for each role, making sure every candidate meets with at least two team members.
- Coach hiring managers on structured interviewing, consistent evaluation, and timely feedback, and help them sell the opportunity to top candidates.
- Complete compensation analysis for every offer – including base, variable, and OTE – and route offers for approval within a 24–48 business hour turnaround.
- Deliver a top-notch candidate experience with clear communication, expectation setting, and timely follow-up at every stage.
- Partner with HR Operations and hiring managers for a smooth handoff from offer acceptance to onboarding and first-day readiness.
- Track and report recruitment metrics – time to fill, pipeline health, pass-through rates, offer acceptance, and new hire retention – and bring forward early risks and opportunities.
- Review early-tenure retention for sales hires and share insights with sales and HR leadership to sharpen hiring profiles and selection.
- Maintain accurate, timely candidate records and documentation in the ATS, keeping hiring practices consistent, compliant, and audit-ready across every state IQ Fiber operates in.
- Cross-train and serve as a reliable backup for other recruitment and HR teammates, building coverage and continuity of service across the team.
- Demonstrate and uphold IQ Fiber values; stay current on sales talent trends, employment law, and recruiting best practices; jump in to support broader HR projects and team coverage as needed; perform other duties as assigned.

- Experience recruiting both field or residential sales roles and B2B account executives.
- Strong sourcing skills, including LinkedIn Recruiter and creative outbound strategies to reach passive talent.
- Working knowledge of sales compensation structures, including base, variable, and OTE.
- Working knowledge of employment law and multi-state hiring compliance fundamentals.
