Job description

• Raytheon Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) is seeking a Systems Test Engineer III with experience in system integration. This role will be part of a development team responsible for delivering a complex system of systems to the customer.

Responsibilities

• Operate Radar test equipment and assist in system test execution ensuring the system meets specifications
• Work closely with the team and leadership
• Communicate daily with the test team as well as other engineers associated with test
• Maintain a systems-level perspective while supporting integration, verification, and validation activities
• Analyze system problems and communicate issues to the engineering team

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience with system integration and troubleshooting
• Flexibility to work 1st and 2nd shift to meet program requirements.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued DoD Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM preferred)
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of radar systems operation
• Experience in scripting
• Linux or UNIX

• The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
• Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
