- As the Resident Concierge, you will serve as the first point of contact at the front desk/office, providing a warm, professional welcome to prospective residents, current residents, guests, and vendors. You will guide prospects through the leasing process, support the leasing team with applications and move-ins, and help ensure the community runs smoothly day to day. Your professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality will be essential to creating a positive first and lasting impression of the community.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact at the front desk/office, providing a warm, professional welcome to residents, guests, and vendors.
- Greet and tour prospective residents through the community, model units, and amenities, highlighting features and benefits.
- Answer phone, email, and walk-in inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Process rental applications, run background/credit checks, and prepare lease agreements.
- Follow up with prospects and leads to convert interest into signed leases.
- Maintain accurate records of traffic, leasing activity, and availability in the property management system.
- Assist with move-in coordination, including paperwork, orientation, and welcome packets.
- Handle resident concerns or complaints with professionalism, escalating as needed.
- Report maintenance or safety issues promptly and follow established safety procedures.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and effective time management.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, quality-driven mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with sales and customer-service conversations, including converting leads into leases.
- Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working with diverse individuals and open to a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with property management software, or the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–3 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, front desk, or leasing; apartment industry experience preferred.
- Experience with property management systems (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, Entrata) is a plus.
