- Ready to lead a high-performing team the Hanania Way?
- Hanania Automotive Group is searching for a driven, inspiring, and proven Sales Manager ready to take charge and elevate our dealership to new heights. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, know how to motivate a team, and have a track record of sales leadership success, this is your opportunity to experience the Hanania Advantage.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, coach, develop, and manage a high-performing sales team. Set clear expectations, oversee schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and create an energetic environment that motivates Sales Associates to consistently achieve and exceed their goals.
- Set bold monthly and annual sales targets—and consistently work to exceed them. Build strategic sales plans, monitor performance, manage budgets, and provide hands-on leadership throughout the sales process.
- Use strong negotiation, product knowledge, and creative problem-solving skills to structure and close deals. Work closely with Sales Associates, Finance, and other dealership departments to overcome obstacles, find solutions, and maximize opportunities while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- MUST have a strong understanding of Deep Subprime automotive sales and financing, including credit-challenged customers, lender programs, deal structuring, stipulations, and approval processes. Help the sales team identify opportunities, structure deals effectively, and work with Finance Managers and lenders to increase approvals and deliveries while maintaining compliance and profitability.
- Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication, professionalism, and follow-through. Handle customer concerns with urgency and empathy, assist with difficult situations, and ensure every interaction reflects the Hanania Way.
- Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills with customers, Sales Associates, Finance Managers, lenders, and dealership leadership. Clearly explain options, build trust, listen to customer needs, and confidently guide customers through the buying process.
- Provide consistent one-on-one coaching, daily feedback, and hands-on training to help Sales Associates improve their product knowledge, prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills. Lead by example and create a culture where team members are challenged, supported, and motivated to succeed.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies, forecast sales, manage inventory and purchasing, analyze performance metrics, and implement strong sales control systems that drive dealership profitability and growth.
- Lead your team to deliver exceptional service that results in industry-leading Customer Satisfaction Index ratings. Follow up with customers and ensure concerns are addressed quickly and professionally.
- Maintain a professional presence and lead with integrity, accountability, urgency, and enthusiasm. Model the behaviors you expect from your team and foster a solutions-driven, high-energy environment.
- Conduct ongoing sales training and ensure all team members follow dealership policies, processes, and applicable automotive sales and finance regulations. Collaborate with department leaders on advertising, inventory, equipment, customer needs, and dealership initiatives.
- Embrace additional responsibilities that support our fast-paced and growth-focused dealership. Be willing to jump into the sales process, assist with customers and deals, and do whatever it takes to help the team and dealership succeed.
