- A top audiovisual integrator is seeking an AVL Sales Executive to join their team. This role is primarily focused on sales, client relationships, project scoping, system design, estimating, and preparing sold projects for a smooth handoff to the installation team.
- The ideal candidate will have strong sales experience combined with hands-on AVL and Low Voltage system design knowledge, including experience with Q-SYS, Extron, Dante, theatrical lighting, and related AV technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
- Generate new business and build a strong sales pipeline.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project requirements.
- Scope, design, and estimate AVL and Low Voltage projects.
- Prepare project proposals, budgets, estimates, and Scopes of Work (SOW).
- Manage public bid documentation and submissions.
- Maintain vendor relationships and current pricing.
- Prepare technical documentation, including cable schedules and IP documentation, for sold projects.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and installation teams to ensure a smooth project handoff.
- Provide technical guidance throughout the sales and pre-installation process.
- Stay current on AV technologies, including Q-SYS, Extron, Dante, and theatrical lighting.
Requirements

- Strong sales background with a proven track record of developing and closing business.
- Extensive experience with AV/AVL systems and Low Voltage solutions.
- Hands-on experience with AV system design, project scoping, and estimating.
- Strong knowledge of Q-SYS, Extron, Dante, and theatrical lighting.
- Experience conducting site surveys and developing SOWs and project documentation.
- Experience with public bid processes is preferred.
- Strong client relationship, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with clients, vendors, Project Managers, and installation teams.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and opportunities.
- Prior team leadership experience is a plus but not required.
