- Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with both people and data? We're looking for a Corporate Purchasing Assistant to support our Purchasing team by managing supplier documentation, coordinating purchasing activities, and helping ensure our operations run smoothly across the organization.

- This role is on-site based out of our Chicago HQ (Bryn Mawr) location.
Responsibilities
- As a Corporate Purchasing Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting daily purchasing operations and supplier management initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing supplier and purchasing information within company systems and databases
- Communicating with suppliers and internal teams to collect and maintain required documentation
- Organizing and maintaining electronic supplier records
- Coordinating supplier approval processes with cross-functional stakeholders
- Reviewing supplier documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Preparing reports and supporting purchasing analytics
- Assisting with annual inventory projection updates
- Soliciting quotes for non-inventory purchases and supporting vendor selection recommendations
- Creating and maintaining vendor records
- Processing purchase orders, blanket purchase orders, and credit applications
- Supporting national purchasing agreements across corporate and divisional locations
- Maintaining inventory levels for office, kitchen, coffee, and breakroom supplies
- Providing administrative and operational support to the Purchasing team
- Participating in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the organization
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with ERP, purchasing, procurement, inventory, or supply chain systems is a plus
- Self-motivated team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving
