- Talta Lodge is looking for a Guest Service Associate (Front Desk Agent) to join our team and help create a welcoming, memorable experience for every guest who walks through our doors.
- As a Guest Service Associate, you'll be one of the main faces of Talta Lodge. You'll welcome guests, manage reservations, assist with check-ins and check-outs, answer questions, resolve issues, and help make sure every stay runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a friendly and genuine attitude
- Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately
- Answer phones, emails, and guest questions in a professional and timely manner
- Make and manage reservations, including deposits, confirmations, and special requests
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations about Stowe restaurants, activities, attractions, and local businesses
- Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and follow-through
- Maintain accurate guest accounts, payments, and reservation information
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, management, and other departments
- Review daily arrivals, departures, groups, and special requests
- Assist guests with additional needs such as extra towels, pillows, directions, and local recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area
- Complete daily front desk reports and shift-to-shift communication
- Follow hotel safety, security, privacy, and emergency procedures
- Jump in and support the team wherever needed
Requirements
- Has a genuine passion for hospitality and creating great guest experiences
- Is friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with all types of guests
- Has strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Can stay calm and professional during busy periods or challenging situations
- Is dependable and arrives to work on time and ready to go

- Previous hotel or customer service experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person.
