• As the Marketing Director APAC, you will be responsible for driving go-to-market strategies and integrated marketing campaigns across the APAC region for Johnson Controls, supporting growth across both direct sales and indirect channel partner businesses. You will lead a team of marketers across multiple countries and serve as a strategic partner to business, commercial, and sales leaders. This leader will drive demand creation, demand capture, lead conversion, and customer expansion through digitally enabled marketing programs, while enabling channel partners and field sales teams to achieve growth objectives. The ideal candidate is ambitious, collaborative, customer-focused, and willing to roll up their sleeves as JCI continues to grow.
• As a key member of the Marketing Leadership Team, this individual will champion a culture of growth, collaboration, accountability, and ROI-driven marketing.

Responsibilities

• Lead demand generation strategy and execution across APAC, driving measurable growth for both direct sales and indirect channel partner businesses.
• Serve as the regional champion for digitally enabled marketing programs, including SEO, paid media, marketing automation, social media, webinars, events, account-based marketing, and lead nurturing.
• Partner with regional general managers, commercial leaders, in-country leaders to deliver impactful campaigns that deliver results along all stages of the customer lifecycle and drive demand across all channels to market including build and execute integrated go-to-market plans that drive awareness, pipeline, revenue growth, and customer retention.
• Develop localized campaigns that translate global value propositions into market-relevant programs aligned to business, customer, and industry priorities.
• Lead and develop a team of APAC-based marketing professionals.
• Build and execute marketing programs that support the full customer lifecycle, including demand creation, lead generation, lead conversion, customer expansion, and account growth.
• Collaborate with direct sales teams and channel partners to improve lead quality, lead management, pipeline progression, and revenue conversion.
• Drive account-based marketing strategies for strategic accounts and priority customer segments.
• Define and execute regional event strategies including virtual events, webinars, tradeshows, partner events, proprietary events, and networking activities.
• Partner with channel leaders to develop partner marketing, co-marketing, and enablement programs that accelerate demand generation and business growth through distributors, resellers and other channel partners.
• Manage regional marketing budget.
• Report out regularly on KPIs, results and progress related to each stage of funnel.
• Work collaboratively with field marketing, product marketing, sales and services teams to ensure holistic view of demand generation activity and ensure connectedness across efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and initiatives around digital marketing.
• Deep understanding of demand generation disciplines including lead scoring, lead nurturing, MQL/SQL management, funnel optimization, CRM systems, in a distributed, multi-line of business environment.
• Experience supporting both direct sales organizations and indirect/channel partner business models.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, campaign execution, account-based marketing, and customer lifecycle marketing.
• Proven ability to develop and execute marketing programs that drive measurable pipeline, revenue growth, and customer engagement.
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills and presents convincingly to peers, executives, partners, and customers.
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management capabilities within a matrixed global organization.
• Strong project and budget management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and workstreams simultaneously.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable business recommendations.
• Effective relationship builder with experience leading geographically distributed teams.
• Willingness to travel.
• Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent).
• Experience working across the APAC region and managing multi-country marketing programs.
• Experience with channel marketing, partner ecosystem development, and account-based marketing in a B2B environment.
