Responsibilities
- Production Quality Technicians are responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- They perform tests using measurement tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, cosmetic quality and spectral properties test to verify product specifications.
- They monitor production processes to identify deviations, defects, or non-conformances and take corrective actions as needed.
- Production Quality Technicians document inspection results, test data, and any quality issues in detailed reports for management review.
- They ensure that all testing and inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained to guarantee accurate results.
- They collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Production Quality Technicians analyze quality data and trends to identify recurring problems and recommend process improvements.
- They play a key role in ensuring that safety and quality protocols are followed on the production floor. By maintaining a focus on continuous improvement, they contribute to enhancing product quality, reducing defects, and improving overall operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience – 3 year’s experience in manufacturing roles is typically required
