• We're looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance Officer to support the day-to-day financial operations of a diverse portfolio of entities. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing bookkeeping activities, supporting taxation and compliance requirements, and assisting with regular financial reporting.
• This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll work across a portfolio of entities, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial information is accurate, timely and handled with the utmost professionalism and confidentiality. From reconciliations and reporting to supporting compliance obligations and process improvements, you'll help keep the financial operations running smoothly while building trusted relationships along the way.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day financial operations of a diverse portfolio of entities.
• Maintain accurate financial records, manage bookkeeping activities, support taxation and compliance requirements, and assist with regular financial reporting.
• Work across a portfolio of entities, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial information is accurate, timely and handled with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Perform reconciliations, reporting, support compliance obligations and process improvements.

Requirements

• Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, finance administration or a similar finance-focused role.
• Experience using MYOB is advantageous and strong proficiency across Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Sound understanding of bookkeeping principles, reconciliations, financial administration and month-end processes.
• Knowledge of BAS, GST and other taxation and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A professional, proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to build trusted relationships and handle confidential information with discretion.
