• The Marketing & Advertising Technology Manager is responsible for maximising the value of Domain's MarTech and AdTech ecosystem by connecting audience data, activation workflows and platform operations across Marketing, Product and Technology teams. This hands-on role focuses on improving how first-party data is collected, governed, activated and measured to support personalisation, customer engagement, retention and campaign performance. Working across commercial, marketing and technical stakeholders, you will drive audience strategy, optimise platform operations and enable teams to create, activate and measure customer audiences more effectively across channels.

Responsibilities

• Lead audience strategy and enablement across Domain’s marketing and advertising technology ecosystem, helping teams create, activate and measure customer audiences more effectively. You will act as a key partner to Lifecycle, Digital, Product and Technology teams, translating audience opportunities into clear activation, tracking and measurement plans. The role is responsible for driving best-practice audience operations, ensuring data governance, privacy compliance and consent requirements are met, while maintaining robust documentation, scalable processes and operational standards that improve audience performance and marketing effectiveness.
• Drive the activation and optimisation of customer audiences across Domain’s marketing and advertising technology ecosystem. Working closely with MarTech, Digital, Lifecycle Marketing and Ad Operations teams, you will leverage first-party data, customer data platforms and audience segmentation to improve advertising performance and customer engagement. You will build and activate high-value audience segments, optimise audience delivery and match rates across platforms, and identify new opportunities to enhance targeting, measurement and activation through behavioural insights and data-driven strategies.
• Lead the operational management and optimisation of Domain’s advertising technology ecosystem, ensuring customer data, audience platforms and advertising channels work seamlessly together. You will oversee tracking, measurement and platform integrations across customer data platforms, marketing technologies and advertising partners, supporting privacy-conscious data collection and activation. Working closely with Product, Technology and Marketing teams, you will maintain platform health, troubleshoot technical issues, improve audience delivery and provide reporting that enables more effective advertising performance and customer engagement.

Requirements

• Essentials
• 5-8 years' experience in ad technology, digital campaign operations, audience strategy, marketing technology, data activation or a related digital platforms role.
• Hands-on experience with at least one core platform area, such as Google Ad Manager, Google Tag Manager, advertising platforms, and Customer Data Platforms (like Tealium).
• Strong understanding of digital advertising operations, audience segmentation, first-party data activation, campaign tracking and measurement principles.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to test, validate and troubleshoot audience setup, tracking, tags, campaign delivery and platform integrations. Bring structure to ambiguous problems and document requirements clearly.
• Comfortable working with audience data, reporting outputs and platform diagnostics to identify opportunities, validate setup and explain performance outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, Data, Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in Real Estate, Tech, Media, Advertising, Marketplace or Software industries.
• Experience with Tealium, Google Ad Manager, Google Tag Manager, Meta Business Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics or similar platforms.
• Candidates will not be expected to do any coding or programming within this role but do need to be hands-on with the platforms and willing to learn through trial and error.
• Experience working with data clean rooms, second-party data partnerships, match-rate improvement, server-side conversion tracking or API-based audience integrations.
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and work with Product, Technology or Data teams on data layer, tagging, API, tracking or platform integration requests.
