Job description

• We're looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to take ownership of one of Bradken's most strategic customer relationships. In this highly visible commercial role, you'll partner with customer stakeholders to identify opportunities, solve operational challenges and deliver measurable improvements that increase productivity, reduce downtime and create long-term value.
• This is an exciting opportunity to combine your technical knowledge, commercial acumen and relationship management expertise while influencing customer outcomes and contributing directly to Bradken's growth across the mining and mineral processing sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead regular customer engagements and site visits to identify growth opportunities, strengthen strategic relationships and deliver solutions that improve operational performance.
• Apply your technical and metallurgical expertise to help customers improve liner performance, reduce downtime and increase asset productivity.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans that support revenue growth, profitability and long-term customer retention.
• Partner with customer operations teams and Bradken specialists to identify improvement opportunities and deliver measurable performance outcomes.
• Provide customer insights, operational data and market intelligence to support product development, innovation and business strategy.
• Manage commercial negotiations, contracts, forecasts and budgets to achieve sustainable business growth.
• Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to support the development and deployment of innovative customer solutions.
• Build trusted relationships with operational leaders, senior management and executive stakeholders across customer organisations.
• Identify future customer requirements and emerging market trends to position Bradken as a long-term strategic partner.

Requirements

• You thrive on building strong customer partnerships and delivering commercial and operational outcomes in demanding industrial environments.
• Demonstrated years of experience within Mining, Mineral Processing, Extractive Metallurgy or related industries.
• Experience in technical sales, key account management, business development or commercial leadership roles.
• A trade qualification, technical background or tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, Sales or a related discipline.
• Strong customer relationship management experience with a demonstrated ability to grow and retain strategic accounts.
• Experience negotiating commercial agreements and managing customer contracts.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop and execute growth strategies.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• The ability to influence and build networks across all organisational levels.
• A proactive and results-driven approach with strong problem-solving capability.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems will be highly regarded.
