- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
- Create, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, and Sanity Testing.
- Execute testing for Web, Mobile (iOS/Android), and API-based applications.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect tracking tools.
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.
- Participate in sprint planning, grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
- Validate production releases and conduct post-release verification activities.
- Support UAT activities and assist stakeholders in issue investigation.
- Contribute to test automation initiatives and continuous quality improvement.
- Maintain test documentation and provide regular status reports.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in testing Web and Mobile applications.
- Good knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.
- Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Previous experience in retail, loyalty, eCommerce, ordering, or payment platforms.
- Good to have using of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Copilot Chat, and Claude to generate test scenarios, edge cases, and test data.
- Ability to validate and refine AI-generated test artifacts for accuracy and coverage.
