This is a true outside sales and business development position focused on opening new accounts and growing long-term trade relationships. You will spend most of your time in the field meeting with prospective and existing accounts throughout the Greater Houston area.

- This is a true outside sales and business development position focused on opening new accounts and growing long-term trade relationships.
- You will spend most of your time in the field meeting with prospective and existing accounts throughout the Greater Houston area.
- You will be helping grow an important trade channel for an established Houston manufacturer with local production, an experienced design team, a large showroom, advanced 3D design capabilities, and professional installation by SpaceManager employees.

Responsibilities
- • Prospect and open new builder, developer, contractor, remodeler, designer, and trade accounts
- • Conduct face-to-face sales calls, jobsite visits, office meetings, and showroom presentations
- • Develop relationships with owners, purchasing managers, project managers, superintendents, and designers
- • Identify upcoming projects and new business opportunities
- • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from first contact through repeat business
- • Present SpaceManager's custom design, local manufacturing, and installation capabilities
- • Follow up on bids, proposals, and project opportunities
- • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity
- • Attend trade events, networking functions, and industry meetings
- • Meet or exceed new account and revenue goals
Requirements
- • 5+ years of outside sales or business development experience
- • Experience selling to builders, developers, contractors, remodelers, designers, or similar trade accounts
- • Building products, cabinetry, closets, millwork, countertops, flooring, or construction industry experience preferred
- • Proven ability to prospect, open new accounts, and grow repeat business
- • Existing Houston-area trade relationships are a strong plus
- • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field
- • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout Greater Houston
