• This position works closely with the Controller and CFO while partnering with Operations, Production, and Sales to ensure accurate financial reporting, job costing, and timely month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Construction Accounting
• • Perform job costing for residential roofing projects.
• • Track project costs and profitability.
• • Process vendor and independent contractor payments accurately and on time.
• • Maintain vendor and independent contractor records and supporting documentation.

Requirements

• • 3+ years of Accounting experience.
• • MUST HAVE Monthly Financial Close experience.
• • MUST HAVE Job Costing experience.
• • MUST HAVE Roofing, Construction, or other Home Services Trade experience.
• • Advanced QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel skills.
• • 3+ years of Accounting experience.
• • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
• • Advanced QuickBooks Online experience.
• • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• • Experience with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• • Experience processing vendor and commission-based independent contractor payments is helpful.
• • Experience supporting audits and implementing internal controls.
• • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• • Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.
