• We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer / Data Engineer with strong expertise in data-driven application development, data ingestion, analytics, automation, and modern web technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Node.js, React/Angular, REST APIs, data modeling, analytics platforms, and enterprise-scale application development.

• Provide design, planning, configuration, documentation, deployment, and top-level support ownership for storage infrastructure technologies.
• Identify design requirements and provide recommendations for capacity planning, performance optimization, and future technology direction.
• Design storage and software solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Perform workload modeling, sizing, optimization, and troubleshooting activities.
• Research and evaluate system and operating system capabilities while working with vendors on application sizing and architecture recommendations.
• Support and manage storage virtualization, data rationalization, workload automation, storage provisioning, disaster recovery, and SAN fabric management.
• Troubleshoot storage-related reliability, availability, and performance issues.
• Collaborate on application integration, system administration, preventive maintenance, performance tuning, and problem management activities.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and provide hardware, software, and configuration optimization recommendations.
• Participate throughout the software development lifecycle including research, development, maintenance, enhancements, re-engineering, security, and defect resolution.
• Manage software products using best-in-class development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
• Gather business requirements and support product definition, feature prioritization, usability assessments, and competitive analysis.
• Lead testing activities and resolution of issues for new and enhanced products.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and user documentation.
• Drive innovation and contribute ideas for new products and product enhancements.
• Ensure delivery of products within budget, timeline, and quality objectives.
• Contribute to project planning, resource estimation, cost estimation, and schedule management.
• Develop major performance improvements, enhancements, and new software capabilities.
• Review requirements, specifications, and designs to ensure product quality and performance standards.
• Implement data-driven applications and automation solutions using Node.js and REST APIs.
• Leverage reporting and visualization platforms such as Tableau and Power BI to build dashboards and business insights.
• Develop custom user interfaces when standard reporting tools do not meet business needs.
• Utilize the ELK Stack to build scalable data processing and analytics capabilities.
• Build smart data connectors to ingest structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Develop APIs to enable data sharing and integration with external applications.
• Follow Scrum methodologies and actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
• Adhere to coding standards, code hygiene practices, and source control management using GitLab.
• Maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and user guides within Confluence.
• Design and implement scalable data ingestion, storage, and processing architectures.
• Support data analytics, reporting, automation, and enterprise integration initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and reliable software solutions.

Requirements

• Experience: 6+ Years
• Technical Skills
• Experience in building and implementing data models and end-to-end architecture for data ingestion, storage, and processing.
• Experience with data analytics and visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Strong experience in SQL development, complex database queries, and stored procedures.
• 6+ years of experience with development frameworks such as Node.js (preferred) and React/Angular.
• Experience developing REST APIs and web service automation solutions.
• Experience with distributed source code repositories such as Git (GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket).
• Strong analytical, process management, and reporting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Results-driven mindset with strong accountability and ownership.
• Ability and eagerness to learn new technologies and skills.
