Job description

• This is not a “shadow and observe” internship. You will gain real-world, resume-building experience in sports marketing, community outreach, and brand growth. Interns play an active role in executing marketing initiatives that directly impact business performance.
• We are seeking a motivated Organic Marketing Intern to support community engagement efforts and assist in building D1 Training’s community presence. This role is ideal for students who want practical experience they can confidently speak to in interviews and future career opportunities.
• Experience executing live marketing events and community activations
• Exposure to lead generation and customer acquisition strategies
• Understanding of how marketing efforts directly impact revenue growth

Responsibilities

• Community Engagement & Partnerships
• Assist in planning and executing local events, school partnerships, and grassroots marketing initiatives
• Represent D1 Training at community events and activations
• Help develop relationships with local schools, teams, and organizations
• Marketing Execution & Brand Growth
• Support in-gym promotions and campaigns designed to drive memberships
• Assist in highlighting member success stories and facility culture
• Track and report on basic marketing metrics (engagement, leads, event participation)

Requirements

• Currently enrolled college student (Marketing, Sports Management, Business, Communications, or related field preferred)
• Strong interest in sports, fitness, and brand marketing
• Comfortable engaging with people in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with social media platforms; content creation experience is a plus
• Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to learn
