• My client, a central government department, require a Lead Interaction Designer, where you will be responsible for leading a team of Interaction Designers to design services focused on user needs, while working with stakeholders to
• resource projects and promote a better understanding of design.

Responsibilities

• Main responsibilities
• - working closely with other professional leads, Delivery Managers and Heads of Role
• - building an inclusive community of practice that enables designers across the
• portfolio of work to share ideas, best practice and proactively help and support each
• other
• - working with senior stakeholders to raise awareness and understanding of the value
• of user-centred design
• line managing, supporting and mentoring a team of Interaction Designers over
• multiple projects, providing them with guidance, training and constructive feedback

Requirements

• Must have prior government experience and understand government design principles and methodologies. SC clearance is also required
