• My client is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to support sophisticated litigation and government investigation matters. This position will work closely with attorneys, paralegals and business services professionals across offices while independently managing advanced assignments throughout the litigation lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with preparing and filing Federal and State Court pleadings, motions and other court documents.
• Coordinate complex electronic filings, including confidential and high-volume submissions.
• Support all phases of discovery, including document review, productions, depositions, privilege reviews and redactions.
• Conduct complex searches, coding and document retrieval within Relativity databases.
• Prepare and finalize privilege and redaction logs.
• Review motions, briefs and other court filings for accuracy, including proofreading, cite-checking, record checking, exhibit preparation and formatting.
• Assist attorneys with preparation for interviews, depositions, hearings, trials and client meetings.
• Support complex government investigations, including matters involving the SEC and DOJ.
• Manage multiple litigation deadlines, prioritize assignments and delegate work when appropriate.
• Assist with advanced projects involving data management, analysis and large document collections.
• Maintain organized electronic case files using approved case management and document management protocols.
• Conduct research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, SEC/EDGAR and other court, media and financial research resources.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, paralegals and business services professionals across offices on large, multijurisdictional matters.
• Provide guidance, mentorship and feedback to junior paralegals and other members of case teams.
• Handle sensitive client and case information with a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
• Adjust hours and travel as needed to support trials, filings and other business requirements.

Requirements

• 6+ years of paralegal experience or experience requiring a comparable litigation skill set.
• Strong litigation experience supporting complex Federal and State Court matters.
• Working knowledge of Federal and State Court rules and procedures, including civil and criminal matters.
• Demonstrated experience supporting government investigations, including SEC and DOJ investigations.
• Hands-on experience preparing and coordinating complex electronic court filings.
• Working knowledge of Relativity and electronic discovery/document review platforms; Everchron experience is valuable.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong ability to work with data, electronic databases and document management systems.
• Strong experience with litigation research tools including Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER and SEC/EDGAR.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail and ability to independently manage multiple deadlines in a demanding litigation environment.

• Strong understanding of court rules, procedures, deadlines and electronic filing requirements.
• Working knowledge of Relativity and electronic discovery workflows.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Strong research skills using Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER and SEC/EDGAR.
• Ability to independently take ownership of sophisticated assignments with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and rapidly changing deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform effectively under pressure.
• Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with attorneys, paralegals and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
• Flexibility to travel and adjust working hours based on case and business needs.
• Experience with Everchron or comparable discovery applications.
• Experience supporting large, multijurisdictional litigation matters.
• Experience mentoring or providing guidance to junior paralegals and case-team members.
