• As a Transportation Engineer at Ackerman Estvold Engineering and Consulting, you will play a vital role in designing and enhancing the critical infrastructure that propels our communities forward. Collaborating with senior transportation leaders and multidisciplinary teams, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing a variety of transportation projects, including roadways, highways, bridges, airports, and transit systems. Requirements

• To thrive as a Transportation Engineer at Ackerman Estvold Engineering and Consulting, a robust set of skills and qualifications is essential. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline with a strong emphasis on transportation. An Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is required, with the expectation of obtaining a Professional Engineer (PE) license within 12 months or already possessing a North Dakota PE license. Relevant experience of 3-6 years in transportation or civil engineering design and consulting is crucial, as is proficiency in design software such as Autodesk Civil 3D and OpenRoads Designer. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities, enabling them to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
