• Arconic is currently in search of Procurement Interns to join our Global Procurement Team based in Pittsburgh, PA or any of our Rolled Products North American Facilities.

• Our Procurement Interns will support and learn hands-on through data analysis, sourcing initiatives, supplier management activities, and continuous improvement projects within a global heavy-manufacturing environment.
• The successful candidate will collaborate with procurement professionals, operations leaders, finance teams, and suppliers to help improve efficiency, reduce costs, strengthen supplier relationships, and support strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing and procurement projects through research, analysis, and data collection.
• Analyze purchasing, spend, and supplier performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Assist with supplier onboarding, compliance tracking, and supplier performance initiatives.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Support procurement process improvement and standardization efforts.
• Assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and documentation.
• Participate in cross-functional projects involving procurement, operations, finance, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
• Review procurement transactions and identify opportunities to improve accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Support category management and strategic sourcing activities, including market research and supplier evaluations.
• Present project results, recommendations, and findings to procurement leadership.

Requirements

• You have: (required)
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in: Supply Chain, Business or Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Graduation date of late 2027, 2028 or May 2029.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Previous internships in supply chain or procurement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and other 365 products.
• Familiarity with PowerBI
• Knowledge of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
• Exposure to ERP systems.
• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement principles.
• Experience working with large data sets and business reporting tools.
