Job description
- We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to own, maintain, and continuously improve our software delivery platform centered around GitLab CI/CD hosted on the client's code repository. This role includes AWS infrastructure automation, Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and management of multiple deployment environments.
- The ideal candidate will have strong experience with GitLab CI/CD, AWS, Terraform, and DevOps automation, with the ability to build scalable, secure, and reliable software delivery pipelines.
Responsibilities
- • Manage, maintain, and enhance GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- • Design scalable, reusable, and secure CI/CD pipeline templates.
- • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform on AWS.
- • Manage development, test, staging, and production environments.
- • Automate build, test, release, and deployment processes.
- • Monitor and optimize pipeline reliability, performance, and security.
- • Apply DevOps best practices to improve developer productivity and deployment quality.
- • Collaborate with software architects, developers, and QA teams.
- • Troubleshoot pipeline, infrastructure, and deployment issues.
- • Continuously improve automation, monitoring, and release management processes.
Requirements
- • Strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD.
- • Experience administering and supporting GitLab repositories and CI/CD pipelines.
- • Strong expertise with Terraform and AWS.
- • Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- • Experience managing development, test, staging, and production environments.
- • Knowledge of DevOps methodologies, automation, monitoring, and release management.
- • Python or Bash scripting experience.
- • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- • Experience with SW360 software component governance.
- • Knowledge of Python package management and Poetry.
- • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps practices.
- • Familiarity with software artifact and dependency management.
