Clinical Lab Technologist at Capital Cardiology Associates in Albany, NY

Job description

• Capital Cardiology Associates is seeking a full-time Licensed Clinical Lab Technologist to support our Blood Processing Lab. We are a busy Physician Office Laboratory (POL) with locations in Albany and Clifton Park, and applicants must be willing to work at either site as needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include performing automated hematology and chemistry analysis with minimal manual testing. Please note that no phlebotomy is required. The ideal candidates must be extremely detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Lab hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Medical Technology, Biology, or Chemistry
• Current NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license
• Minimum of two years of recent experience in a clinical lab
• Experience with Sysmex XN550 or XN530, Dimension EXL, Beckman DXC 500 AU, Triage Meter, iSTAT 1 System and Schuylab (LIS) is a plus
• Education
• Bachelors or better in Biology or related field.
• Licenses & Certifications
• Medical Lab Scientist
