Job description
- The AI/ML Specialist develops, deploys, and maintains artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions supporting mission-critical operational and analytical requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy AI/ML models.
- Develop and test machine learning solutions.
- Support MLOps and DevSecOps practices.
- Evaluate AI technologies and use cases.
- Perform model validation, monitoring, and tuning.
- Provide technical leadership on AI initiatives.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Engineering, or related field.
- CAP Professional or equivalent certification.
- 6 years of AI/ML experience, or 5 years with a PhD.
- Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements. Ability to obtain Public Trust prior to hire and maintain during employment is required.

- The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $140,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
