As a Medical Assistant you will assist with procedures, provide education, and support the multidisciplinary team, ensuring every patient receives exceptional care at every step of their path to parenthood.
- We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility in Manhattan, New York. This is a full-time, onsite position, working Monday through Friday with availability from 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM and training will be at our Brooklyn clinic for 4-6 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in patients, verify medical history, and update their information.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Perform diagnostic tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are stocked and ready.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).
- Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, including follow-ups and referrals.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medication protocols, and preventive care measures.
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards to maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Assist with inventory management and clinical supply ordering.
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide outstanding customer service.
- Perform other duties and support special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification from an accredited Medical Assisting program.
- Phlebotomy certification strongly recommended.
- Maintain current BLS certification.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Fertility or women's health experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to empathize with patients
- Must be flexible and available to travel to other clinic locations and provide coverage on holidays and weekends as needed.

- Hourly Rate: $22.00-25.00 per hour (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
