Health Plan Pricing Analyst at TriNet in Hyderabad, Telangana, India

Job description

• The Health Plan Pricing Analyst is responsible for ensuring the appropriate collateral is received and determining the appropriate medical rate is assigned for a prospect. Analysts use specialized tools developed by third party industry experts and TriNet's carrier partners to evaluate submitted documents and census information to determine the correct medical pricing for prospects based on the actual risk they present.

Responsibilities

• Work independently to conduct prospect census review including medical plans and rates, to determine the appropriate medical price based on the presented risk of the prospect
• Evaluate required documents using various tools including a medical pricing tool
• Communication with Sales colleagues
• Assist with reviewing and evaluating output of the tools and resources TriNet uses and making suggestions for improvements on these tools and Health Plan Pricing process
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
• Typically 2+ years required
• Skills and Abilities
• Ability to interpret and analyze detailed medical plans and related documents
• Ability to solve problems using mathematical skills
• Possess independent thinking skills and complete projects with minimal guidance
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate skills in Excel
• Ability to communicate with Sales personnel regarding Health Plan Pricing guidelines and requirements
• Experience in insurance pricing preferred
